Coordinator's Message

On behalf all the partners and member companies of the Delaware County Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ), it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. Herein you will find information about our current operating partners, our portfolio companies, and other resources that will help your knowledge-based business locate, grow, and stay in Delaware County Pennsylvania.

As our website explains, the purpose of any Keystone Innovation Zone, and certainly ours in particular, is to leverage the research and technology commercialization capabilities of a variety of organizations, anchored by our outstanding partners at Villanova and Widener University, to create knowledge neighborhoods that lead to long term sustainable economic development for the communities that host KIZs. To those ends, our goals in the Delaware County KIZ are the following:

Foster collaborative partnerships between and among existing partners and current and potential KIZ companies
Facilitate sustainable growth for KIZ companies through direct funding and through leveraging funding from other partners and sources
Provide opportunities for promotion of KIZ partners and companies
Make Delaware County and its Keystone Innovation Zone the preeminent KIZ in the Commonwealth where companies want to locate, grow, and remain a part of the economy

I am firmly committed to the success of the Delaware Keystone Innovation Zone and its partners and companies. Our KIZ partners have expertise in technology commercialization, site selection, government affairs, finance and tax credits, and have and offer access to funding opportunities. It is an exciting time to be a part of the Delco KIZ, as opportunities for growth and expansion abound.
